2010 Award Winners!
Past President Carol Klingberg Educational Award
This award focuses on an educational promoting our native flora. ELWD is very proud of June Ann Hassebroek for this amazing accomplishment!
Also big award winners were Mary Dahlgren's Program and Meeting Guide winning a Pacific Region Award and the club Terra Tillers Flower Show won the WSFGC Schedule Award for "High Voltage". Congratulations to All!!!
ELWD Awards
Each year our District recognizes individuals and clubs who promote National Garden Club Objectives. This enables us to learn from our members, recognize their work, and share quality projects between clubs.
Native Plant Grant
Deadline is March 1, 2010
Clubs may also apply for a grant to help fund a community project that focuses on using native plants.
Give Kids A Hand Grant
Deadline is March 29, 2010
Schools with in ELWD may apply for a grant that supports garden, horticulture, landscaping, or environmental activities at the school.
